Description

This self-paced online course is an introduction to basic Biblical Hebrew grammar and vocabulary to help students translate the Hebrew Bible, the sacred text of the Jewish and Christian religious communities.  The goal is to enable students to read prose in the Hebrew Bible with a good lexicon.  So the focus of the class is to help students learn how read the Hebrew text rather than to become a grammarian.
